Mercure Florianopolis Centro

Got to spend my Christmas holidays at a hotel in Florianopolis recently. the breakfast spread was good and had a lot of options which catered to different tastes. the staff here were warm and welcoming, making the stay a comfortable affair. the location of the hotel was fantastic since it was very close to various restaurants and shopping areas in the city.

Despite the prime location, the hotel was not exactly clean and tidy. the rooms and furniture looked quite old and worn out, definitely not suitable for the prices they were charging.

Having a terrace was like a dream. We stayed in front of many city attractions and within 10 mins on foot from Museu do Homem do Sambaqui. Downtown Florianopolis neighborhood is worth seeing. Great choice for city trip.

Located 900 feet from the hotel, Taberna Iberica was a good choice to eat. We enjoyed the room. A suitable place for exploring Florianopolis;))

I had a great stay at this 4-star hotel! The location was absolutely ideal for me, as it was right in midtown and close to all the business appointments I had. Plus, it was just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for a relaxing stroll. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the reception to the restaurant. It really made me feel welcome and taken care of. The room itself was fantastic, with all the amenities I could ask for, including air conditioning, a mini-bar, and an in-room safe. The free toiletries were a nice touch as well. the quality of service and comfort at this place were top-notch.

I highly recommend this hotel for families.

Our room was very large and bright and the location was perfect. We were within easy walking distance of the bus stations - the long distance bus and the local bus to take us to a different beach every day, The fellows at the front desk gave us excellent directions for that.

The rooms are big and well equipped for their price range. Good value for money.

The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, as I had business appointments in downtown. It was also very convenient to go to the popular Avenida Beira Mar area of the city and enjoy a nice park in front of the hotel. I loved the view from my room, which overlooked the park and the trees. The room itself was completely renovated and had new, modern facilities. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is located in a prime area close to the popular Avenida Beira Mar, with many restaurants, shops, and beaches nearby. the room was clean and comfortable with good bathroom facilities. the breakfast offered a decent selection of hot and cold options. the rooftop pool and enclosed dining area offer great views of the surroundings.

The check-in and check-out process needs to be improved.

Check-in and check-out process can be a bit slow and confusing, with staff sometimes struggling to use the reservation system and not always being able to accommodate customer requests. The gym is a bit basic and could use more equipment.
